David Walker
David Walker has worked in the field of architecture since 1996, and been involved in the design and construction coordination of over 200,000 SF of retail, office and build to suit buildings in Atlanta GA, and over 60,000 SF of custom residential projects on the East End of Long Island, NY. David has been with Bruce Nagel since 1999, and has been project architect for over 20 projects during his tenure with the firm.
Educated at the Georgia Institute of Technology with a Bachelor of Science in Architecture, and at The City College of NY with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Music, David finds his versatility in the arts to give a unique perspective to his work. His aesthetic interests are in the integration of materials, proportion, and geometric order, and on overall goal of creating an architectural rhythm in his projects.
Stylistically, he finds interests in all genres of housing, from classical and traditional, to streamlined modern. David sees architecture as a means to assimilate the ideas of the client and architect, and finds the challenge of creating something that satisfies both parties a personally rewarding journey regardless of the stylistic interests of the client.
